You can extend the duration of your visa while you are in Iran.

• To do so, you need to refer to the Immigration & Passport Police offices in major Iranian cities (like Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz and Tabriz) in person.
• Opening Hours are Sat.-Wed. 07:30-14:00. And Thu. 08:00-11:30.
• Visas collected from consulates can be extended twice, for max. 30 days each time.
• Airport visas can be extended for max 15 days.
