Iran Visa Policy
Before travelling to Iran, it’s important to know what documents you need. This depends on why you’re going (tourism, business, treatment, etc.) and where you’re from. There are four main types of entry options for Iran (Visa-Free Entry, Visa on Arrival, Visa before Travel, Restricted Visa) based on things like your passport and travel purposes.
Here’s a breakdown:
- Nationality: There are different rules for citizens of different countries on how they can enter Iran.
- Travel itinerary: Are you visiting Iran for tourism, business, or something else? How long do you want to stay in Iran? How are you going to enter Iran? This can affect what type of entry permission you need and what documents you need to prepare.
- Passport or travel documents: Do you use an ordinary passport or a different type of travel document for traveling to Iran?
